Dental Implants
A dental implant replaces the root of a missing tooth with a small titanium post, then a crown is fixed on top so the tooth looks and works like your own. At Ivory Premier, implants are our main focus and every case starts with a consultation and a written treatment plan.
Common questions
Who is a dental implant for?
Adults missing one or more teeth who want a fixed replacement instead of a removable denture. Your gum health, bone and medical history are checked first to see whether an implant suits you.
How many visits does it take?
Usually a consultation and planning visit, the placement visit, a healing period of a few months, then one or two visits to fit the final crown. Your plan shows each step and its timing before you begin.
What does the procedure feel like?
The area is numbed before placement, so most people feel pressure rather than sharp pain. Mild soreness for a few days afterward is common and is managed with the aftercare we give you.
How do I care for an implant?
Brush and floss around it like a natural tooth and keep your regular checkups. We schedule follow-up visits after placement to check healing.
