Botulinum toxin (often called Botox) relaxes the muscles that create expression lines, such as frown lines and crow's feet. Dermal fillers are gels that restore volume or shape, for example in the cheeks, lips or the hollows under the eyes. One softens movement; the other replaces volume.
What does botulinum toxin treat?
Lines that appear when you move your face: between the brows, across the forehead and at the corners of the eyes. Small doses relax the muscle so the skin above it creases less.
What do fillers treat?
Areas that have lost volume or that you would like to shape: cheeks, lips, chin, jawline and under-eye hollows. Most modern fillers are made of hyaluronic acid, a substance found naturally in the skin.

How does a doctor keep the result natural?
A natural result comes from a careful consultation, conservative amounts, and a review visit to fine-tune. At Ivory Premier these treatments are given by a medical doctor who reviews your health history first.
Is there downtime?
Most people return to normal activities the same day. Small bruises or swelling can happen and usually settle within days. Your doctor gives you aftercare instructions.
