NAD+ IV Therapy

NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a molecule every cell uses to turn food into energy, and an NAD+ IV infusion delivers it directly into a vein. At Ivory Premier it is given slowly under a medical doctor's supervision, after a health review, for people interested in energy and healthy-ageing support.

Common questions

Why do people have NAD+ infusions?

NAD+ is needed for energy production and cell repair, and levels tend to fall with age. People ask for it hoping to feel more energetic and to support healthy ageing. Research in people is still early, and your doctor explains honestly what is and is not known.

How long does an NAD+ infusion take?

Longer than most drips. NAD+ is given slowly, often over one to several hours, because a fast drip can cause flushing, nausea or chest tightness. The rate is adjusted to how you feel.

What does it feel like?

Some people feel warmth, pressure in the chest or stomach, or mild cramps during the drip. Slowing the infusion usually eases this. Staff check on you throughout and the doctor is on site.

How is it different from other IV drips?

Most wellness drips are mainly fluids, vitamins and minerals given over a shorter session. NAD+ is a different substance with its own infusion rate and side effects, so it has its own consultation and plan.

Who should not have NAD+ IV therapy?

It is not given during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and some heart, kidney and other conditions make it unsuitable. That is why the doctor reviews your health history first and may say no.
