Rejuran Skin Booster
Rejuran is an injectable skin booster made of polynucleotides, purified DNA fragments derived from salmon, that support the skin's own repair. At Ivory Premier it is given by a medical doctor as a short course of sessions to improve skin quality, such as texture, hydration and fine lines.
Common questions
What does Rejuran do?
It improves overall skin quality rather than changing shape or adding volume. People choose it for dull or tired-looking skin, fine lines, enlarged pores and uneven texture. Changes build gradually over the course.
How is a Rejuran session done?
A numbing cream goes on first. The doctor then places many tiny injections across the treatment area. Most sessions take under an hour, including the numbing time.
How many sessions will I need?
A course is commonly three sessions a few weeks apart, followed by maintenance sessions. Your doctor sets the number and spacing in your written plan.
Is there downtime?
Small raised bumps at the injection points are expected and usually settle within a day or two. Redness or a small bruise can happen. Most people book a few days before an event, not the day before.
Who should not have Rejuran?
It is not suitable if you are allergic to fish or salmon, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have an active skin infection in the area. The doctor reviews your health history first.
Is Rejuran the same as Profhilo?
No. Both are injectable skin boosters, but they are made of different substances and work in different ways. Our journal article on Rejuran and Profhilo compares them side by side.
